ELEXSA (Electronics Engineering Students Association)

» ELEXSA (Electronics Engineering Students Association) was formed in year 2003.

» The first task undertaken by ELEXSA was to form departmental library. The library possesses reference books along with national semiconductor data sheets, RS catalogs & many other journals.

» Various activities are arranged By ELEXSA such as paper presentation competition & B. E. project competition.

» ELEXSA also organizes Lectures of eminent personalities from technical institution like renowned industries and R&D institutions. Various industrial visits are arranged under the industry institute interaction program supported by ELEXSA.

» This association at AISSMS IOIT has emphasized on development of skills, technical knowledge, and discipline among the students.

Student Achievement:

Curricular

Zohra Aziz Ali Manjiyani, from SE, is doing a project, ‘STUDSAT’ which is a picosatellite, with ISRO. It is the first student made pico-satellite in India.

Paper Presented:

Rini Raju and Maithily Shewale, from TE, presented a paper ‘ RF and microwave communication’ at National level Technical Paper presentation competition, organized by Annasaheb Awate college of Engg, Hadapsar.

Swati Shrigiwar and Maithily Shewale, from TE, presented a paper, ‘ Biomedical Engineering’  at National level Technical Paper presentation competition, organized by Rajashri Shahu College of Engg, Pune.

Ankita Goyal and Zohra Aziz Ali Manjiyani , from SE, presented a paper, ‘ Universe and Technology’ in ‘Zenith’ – university level paper presentation competition, organized by AISSMS IOIT, Pune.

Deergha Dwivedi and Kanchan Kumari, from SE, presented a paper, ‘Nanotechnology ’ in ‘Zenith’ – university level paper presentation competition, organized by AISSMS IOIT, Pune.

Divya Upadhyay and Shikha Kamra, from SE, presented a paper, ‘Wireless communication and Wi-Fi’ in ‘Zenith’ – university level paper presentation competition, organized by AISSMS IOIT, Pune.

Circuit Design Competition:

Prajakta Patil and Devaki Mayee , from SE, participated in ‘Perception’- a national level circuit design competition, at VIIT, Pune.

Geeta Naik, Poonam Ubhe and Mayuri Sawant, from TE, participated in  ‘Impulse-08’ - a national level circuit design competition, at Modern College of Engg, Pune

Geeta Naik, Mayuri Sawant, from TE, participated in ‘Vitality-2008’ - a national level circuit design competition, at VIT, Pune.

Robotics Competition

Geeta Naik, Poonam Ubhe and Mayuri Sawant, from TE, won consolation prize in ‘Artiligence in wings-08’, a national level competition at Govt. Engg College –Aurangabad.

Programming Competition

Ankita Runwal and Apurva Shinde, from TE, won third prize in ‘Tech-tathwa 08’ – a state level technical event, for 8086 programming, at JSPM college of Engg, Pune

Mayuri Sawant, from TE, has participated in ‘Vitality 2008’ – a National level Programming competition, organized by VIT, Pune.

Fifteen students, from TE, have attended two days workshop on DSP and Applications, organized by IEEE signal processing society, Bombay section at Modern College of Engg, Pune.

Kalyani Barman and Prachi Aditi, from TE, participated in Debate and Quiz competition, in ‘Verve 2008’.

Priyanka Wadke and Anagha Pandit, from TE, participated in flower arrangement competition, in ‘Verve 2008’.

Mrunmai Jawalgekar, Darshana Kadam, Priyanka Mane, Dhanashree Solat and Yamini Sawalkar , from SE, have participated in ‘Firodiya Karandak-2008’

Prof S. P. Bhosale, presented a paper, ‘ Space Diversity codes in IEEE802.16a broadband wireless systems’ in national conference at Rajashri Shahu College of Engg, Pune.

Prof S. B. Dhonde , presented a paper, ‘Optical Fiber communication’ in national conference at Rajashri Shahu College of Engg, Pune.
